As we are approaching the end of the year and just before we enter the Christmas season in full, it's a time when some of us will be invited to take part in a grading.

We always look at everyone's abilities individually during the course of the year so it should not be a surprise that only those who commit to come down and train regularly and those who improve in their Karate will be invited to grade. We wish all the students who will be grading in the second week of December good luck and I am sure that the hard work they have put in will pay off.

Also, as we do every year, don't forget we will have a Christmas lunch after the Sunday grading so secure your places quickly. It is always nice to see everyone in a friendly atmosphere when the grading is behind us and all the pressure is gone.

As always, Tora Karate Academy, will have a short break, from 21st December 2015, so everyone can enjoy the time with their families. Some of us will take a break, some of us might study a bit of the history of Karate and possibly a few of us will take this opportunity to learn a new kata. Whatever your decision, make the most of the break and enjoy yourself. We will see you all for the first lesson after the break on Wednesday 6th January 2016.
