Kihon
Unless stated otherwise all kihon moves are: 5 steps forward and 5 steps backwards or forward in shiai kamae (freestyle).
- Kizami-zuki, sanbon-zuki (moving forwards and backwards)
- Age-uke, gyaku-zuki chudan
- Soto-uke (zenkutsu-dachi), enpi, uraken (kiba-dachi), gyaku-zuki chudan (zenkutsu-dachi)
- Uchi-uke, kizami-zuki, gyaku-zuki chudan
- Gedan-barai, uraken, gyaku-zuki chudan
- Shuto-uke (kokutsu-dachi), nukite (zenkutsu-dachi) (moving forwards and backwards)
- Kizami mae-geri (foot down), mae-geri, jun-zuki jodan
- Yoko-geri kekomi, gyaku-zuki chudan
- Mawashi-geri, gyaku-zuki chudan
- Ushiro-geri, gyaku-zuki chudan

Kumite
Kihon ippon kumite. All techniques must be controlled. Jodan, chudan, mae-geri, yoko-geri kekomi, mawashi-geri (left and right, once each side).
Candidates are also required to have done at least 3 month's training and 24 lessons.
